About Little Traveller:
100% superwash merino
A lovely, soft yarn, on the fine side of fingering weight, great for socks or for lace knitting. A generous 560 yards per skein is plenty for a pair of socks or a smaller shawl. Little Traveller is more loosely plied than our other sock yarns, making it softer and a little more drapes, but not quite as hard-wearing. The superwash merino content means it's machine washable, though of course all handknits love the gentle treatment of hand washing. Finished garments should be laid flat to dry.
Traveller and Little Traveller names are taken from locations around the world, or sometimes other worlds.
Due to the variation in colour between skeins inherent in hand-dyed yarn, we recommend alternating skeins every two rows or every round if using more than one skein.
Note: All accompanying swatch images are done with our 'Skinny Bugga' yarn. Due to the nature of hand-painted yarn and the variability of a given colourway among bases (colour saturation, etc.), these swatches are meant to offer a representative idea of a colourway, not an exact depiction.
